- To become an animator or comic artist so that I am able to tell fantasies or stories through art from my own mind 💭 or

- To be a marine biologist so that I can find ways of helping the ocean creatures from negative impact of human activities 🐬 or

- To become a zoologist to help the endangered animals and to learn more about animals and the environment they live in 🌴.

Favourite event in Havil 🏫:

My favourite event in Havil were the class parties with the teachers at the very end of the school year. I remember there was one time my classmate and I decided to eat Korean spicy noodles and we pranked one of our classmates that one of the spicy instant noodles was less spicy, but the cup said the spicy level was ‘x2!’

All of us suffered from the pain for the spicy noodles and ate a lot of ice subsequently. I also liked it when we played games with our teachers like, ‘catch the murderer’ and watched a movie together.

My favourite moments also include celebrating each of my classmate’s birthday by buying them presents and gifts, thus making them feel surprised and happy.

Some events in school where we had to wear traditional clothes of each country for our sport team houses were very fun too.

Shout Out ✊:

I would like to give a shout out to all the Blue House students and Blue House Teachers for pushing us to put in our effort and best into our mascot, decorations, cheer, marching and even during Sports Day this year.

I would like to tell the Blue House to work as hard next Sports Day and I'm sure they will get first place because I believe in them and their new Blue House Captain.

Last but not least, I would like to thank my parents for giving me a chance to study in an international school and supporting me every time when I felt down.

SPEECH WRITE UP

Hello to everyone from Havil, students, friends and teachers. As some of you might know my name is Zhao Yun and I'm from year 11. I have been in Havil for 5 years and through all the ups and downs I am finally in my last year in high school. These 5 years I've met so many people,teachers, friends and classmates that helped and encouraged me to become the person I am today.

Before I came to Havil I was not a very confident person, whenever I meet new people I have trouble communicating with them. Throughout these 5 years, some of my goofy classmates helped me to gain courage and confidence to be able to talk to new people with ease. I would like to thank my classmates for being here with me through the journey of doing assignments and projects together, making stupid jokes, always finding out who would be the next tallest person in the class after our school holidays. This may be the last time meeting my classmates and I am glad that I met all of you.

I’m really glad to meet many good and understanding teachers throughout these five years in Havil. It’s due to the teachers whom I met from my primary school who never took me seriously in class, neither did they take notice of me, which made me realise the value of Havil teachers. The teachers in Havil gave me the opportunities to be confident in public speaking. They also guided and helped me with my studies by taking the time to understand me and find ways to improve my studies. Each of the teachers I met so far have encouraged me so I can be well prepared for all types of exams and finally, my IGCSE exams.

I would also like to thank all of my teachers for helping us with our studies through online classes. They never gave up on us even when some of us felt like giving up, this helped us to bite the bullet and persevere. I know that this is true because my classmates and I have put in hard work and effort into our IGCSE exam despite this sudden pandemic. I would also like to thank Ms Wong and is very grateful that she made time for us during our online IGCSE exam. She was very patient in briefing us for all of our papers. Even though this chapter of my high school life in havil has ended, there is a new path for my classmates and I to move towards the future and start a bright new chapter in our life.
